> 24 hourGood clear lamination that is flat after laminating. I was concerned that the watermark on the lamination would show through, but after going through the laminator they did disappear. The big problem was that most of the pouches had creases on them. I thought they would disappear when laminated. I was wrong. The creases turned into raised lines across the lamination distorting the images below. Because I sell these charts, I could not use them. My customers would return them. Of the 75 or so I laminated so far, I tossed half of them. What a waste of time and money. Glad I only bought one pack. I have been laminating charts for 12 years. This was the first and last time for Fellowes.

> 24 hourI rarely laminate, and with that said, I felt these pouches were simple to use, and good quality. I laminated a few items and they help up nicely.

> 24 hourNo real complaints outside of the fact that a hot thermal laminator process is not as great as I thought it would be. Sheets of regular non card stock paper will come out wavvy. Not really a fault of Fellowes, since my Scotch laminating pouches gave the same wavvy appearance, but perhaps theres a better design out there, a better material-content, a better way to evenly displace the heat, that could produce a better quality lamination. Perhaps it is my machine, perhaps it is the laminate, but those are my real-life experiences that I cant give 5-stars to. 4-stars is fair here.

> 24 hourother laminating pouches tend to wrinkle when going through the machine. The Fellowes Laminating pouches stay flat and do not bow after heating.

> 24 hourThese hot laminating pouches work great in my Fellowes Voyager 125 Hot Laminator. Any document created with an inkjet printer or photocopier looks great when laminated in one of these pouches, and they will accommodate various other thin materials as well. Obviously, your best deal is one of these 100 Packs if you plan to do a lot of laminating, but you should do a bit of research before buying. The 3 mil thickness that I also reviewed is perfectly fine for documents that wont be subjected to constant handling but deserve preservation nonetheless. They will cost you about 27 cents each when bought in bulk. However: if you choose this bulk pack of 5 mil pouches instead, you will pay only about 3 cents more per pouch, and your laminated documents will be significantly stronger. The pouches are also offered in 7 mil and 10 mil, but with more of a jump in price. So, for my money, the 5 mil is the best all-around value. It wouldnt be as much of an issue if the 3 mil pouches were more like 20 cents each. Its your call.

> 24 hourMy daughters and I recently purchased a laminating machine (Scotch brand) because of the good price. Weve used these to laminate morning and afternoon chore instruction sheets and some recipe cards (which I then cut). The quality is perfect. They appear to be heavy duty for when youre laminating something that will be used often. The pouches are clear. Im not sure that I can expect more than that (good price, good quality, see thru). I dont see any cons to using the Fellowes brand pouches. Im not sure that well use 100 of them quickly, so maybe a smaller package would be better for most people, but having the extras on hand doesnt hurt. If youre laminating smaller items that you then need to cut, my advice is to buy smaller pouches rather than use scissors to make the item smaller. Its just nicer looking. Since this is the only size we had, I thought Id give it a try. It works, dont get me wrong, but smaller pouches is just more ideal.
