> 3 dayThe brace is sturdy and keeps your wrist from moving too much. I like the 3 straps that encase your wrist. The material is stretchy to help going over your hand with minimal effort.

> 3 dayWhile a younger me might have enjoyed feeling like a power ranger in these fancy oversized wrist accessories because they LOOK like they might have super powers (laser blasters? web shooters? grappling hooks perhaps?), the adult me wasnt as thrilled about needing to wear them. But Im so grateful for the ACTUAL pain-preventing super powers they really DO have, that I very quickly got over feeling resentful about them, and instead now I revel in the joy of simply being able to use my hands in comfort & peace again. The details: I was cautiously optimistic after reading some of the other reviews on here about this wrist brace, but I tried to keep my expectations low because other braces Ive tried have been only moderately helpful at best, relieving only a tiny bit of pain, and sometimes causing some discomfort themselves. And frankly, these looked so big that I thought theyd be intrusive and obnoxious. But WOW, what a wonderful surprise these braces turned out to be. (I got both left and right, and I also got the version with a removable hot/cold pack.) When I sleep with these on, I wake up with NO pain in my wrists. Without them, I frequently wake up with extremely sharp stabbing pain in both arms. I could hardly believe the relief after my first night with them on. I can still hardly believe it, but they truly are working AMAZINGLY well. Even though they are relatively substantial in size, theyre so well designed that they dont feel cumbersome at all. The velcro straps are extremely well thought out: The tips are thinner so they lay nice and flat and arent prone to catching on anything. And the lengths of the straps vary, so the ends dont line up but instead are distributed around the brace thoughtfully. It didnt occur to me that this would matter, but I find it has a couple of advantages: 1. There isnt any one place that feels extra bulky, and 2. even if you were to catch the end of a strap on something while going about your business (note that this hasnt happened to me), because of their arrangement, theres really no way for more than one strap to catch at once. With other braces Ive tried, the skin on my hands & arms could get fatigued from the constant contact with the fabric inside the braces, but the material in these makes them quite comfortable to wear pretty much around the clock. I really didnt expect that. For what its worth: because I did also get the version of these braces with hot/cold pack inserts, Ill add a comparative note: With the other braces, I microwave the hot/cold packs to warm my wrists, which works nicely and feels good, but the heat only lasts for a short while. The hot/cold packs do add a bit more bulk to those braces, so I tend to wear these regular ones more. But with the heat packs removed, the hot/cold braces do fit the same as these regular ones. So I feel very comfortable (literally) HIGHLY recommending both versions of these wrist braces, and am glad I got both sets. Now while I sleep, instead of having nightmares about my arms being picked at by vultures, I dream in peace about the kind of super hero powers I would actually want to have... You know, like flying. :)

> 3 dayI ordered this for my husband who was having wrist pain. When I can actually get him to stop being stubborn and wear it, it really helps him. He never wants to admit he’s in pain or do anything to help it, but when he does wear this, I definitely notice him wincing a lot less. It definitely limits your range of motion while wearing it, but that seems to be the point of it.

> 3 dayDISCLAIMER: Any suggestions or statements are from my own personal experience, or my memory of what my doctor has said. Do not use it to make medical decisions without agreement by your own physician. I assume no responsibility for your use of this device or any part of my experience with or without approval of your own physician. After I was able to fasten the sleeve in a way that worked for me, it has become tremendously helpful. I have been going through a phase I guess where I must be gripping my fist at night, with the result in the morning, my fingers or even arm may tingle sharply when I stretch it out. The tingling or discomfort is partially like a carpel-tunnel effect. My physician believed I was also suffering from a pinched nerve in my the back of my neck. Gradually the problems have been going away, and as I write this review today, I have none of it. Notes about the product packaging: directions are scant, and tiny. Four small pictures illustrate the recommended sequence for fastening the three straps. A little larger on the box, but not necessarily obvious. I read the box as illustrating, where if numbered 1-2-3 (from top to bottom with my arm towards the ceiling), a sequence of 2-3-1. Personally, the best sequence I found over time was to fasten them in a 3-2-1 sequence. Note the first of 4 pictures illustrates inserting a heat-or-cool pack (included). I havent used one, but I noted that the printed directions warned against using the heat or cold for any extended period of time. For me, it has worked best to fasten the sleeve just before going to bed, on in the middle of the night if I wake up with that unwanted tingling. Personal discovery: The best fastening for me has been to avoid a tight-snug fastening - that restricts the spread of my fingers. I want the device snug around my arm (without restricting blood flow), but not to trap my fingers on the sides. My doctor said for carpel tunnel (see Disclaimer!) the important thing is to keep the fingers from curling - the ridge of the device will help with that. Its taken some experimentation to get it right -- too far up is as unhelpful as too low. (A) The device comes in several sizes - get the measurements and sizing matched for you. (B) The best position for me has my thumb not restricted by any edge of the thumbhole. Personal caveats: I made other changes to my environment, of which I believe this sleeve played an important role. But to be fair I should say I replaced the 4foundation and frame with 4 legs that came box-spring that came with my mattress of long ago for a new spring-like-foundation with its own legs raised about a foot from the floor. That replacement has been instrumental to improving my overall-body-support at night. Old as it is, surprised as I am, I plan to keep the mattress (now in its 13th year) because I am sleeping well for the first time since we got the bed (after having tried, earlier, two other mattresses). In an earlier model of this sleeve, I noticed some reviews complaining about the Velcro fasteners over time losing their adhesion. Ive had this 2-3 months, and notice a lesser instant-glue effect, but have had no trouble getting a secure fastening. After removal, I try to loosely rewrap each strap so that none tangle with each other or something nearby. Any decisions you make from this review: See Disclaimer, i.e., YMMV. :)

> 3 dayThis brace is well made and comfortable. It’s stabilized my wrist and kept the pain from coming back. Wasn’t sure it would fit my wrist, it’s really small. Fits great.
