> 24 hourI am sorry to ruin this great chain of great 5 star reviews list, but i must tell this. i was making a research to get some nice new shampoo for my dogs, as i live variety as with everything else, - my be there is something better i dont know about...Their usual is Mane&Tale or Johnson baby body wash.... I received the shampoo very very fast, and i washed my dogs today. I have 3 German Shepherds. ALL 3 now itching terribly, i mean TERRIBLY AND CONSTANTLY, as if they have flees. I wash my dogs on a weekly basis as they live in exclusive environment and they stay mostly inside unless training, that would be @2-3 hours a day. They MUST be cLean and great- smelling. So, i am washing them tomorrow in their regular shampoos, as they scratch themselves every 3- 5 minutes. Not only stomack, but back, neck, legs, - everything. i did not use shampoo on the heads, so that is the only place they don t scratch and it keeps them sane. Bad thing - i got 2!!!big bottles... ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT- i do not understand what is all this raving about the smell. it is actually NOT pleasant and pine-like medicinal. i smell some chemical additive that it NOT appealing-smelling AT ALL. This product does NOT create thick leather to compare to Mane and Tale od Johnson Baby wash. And after coats dry on the sun, they look dry and stick in all sides, dogs look like hedgehogs.this could chane if i put oil or leave as is a day or 2, but considering i wash them weekly, this is NOT a product i would use on a weekly basis. Basicaly, i give 1 star. itchy, not great smell, strip coat off completely and does not re-condition. Wont buy again. thank you.

> 24 hourGood product, I wash my dog with it. Strong herbal smell which doesn’t linger after the dog dries (good because a family member has allergies). Goes a long way after dilution. I put some into the tub while the water runs and pour diluted shampoo over the dog while bathing him. Would be helpful if the instructions were more specific. “Add 2-4 oz to a pail of water”. What size pail? 2 gallon or 5 gallon? Or some other size? Small point, just would be reassuring to know the dilution was correct.

> 24 hourThis is marketed as a horse shampoo but it is the best dog shampoo I have tried and I have tried dozens - even Rx ones from the Vet. It was recommended to me at a farm store in Utah and I love the stuff. Please that Amazon carries the stuff. It has a slightly medicinal smell during the shampoo (concentrate is diluted with water prior to application) but after the dogs dry it leaves a nice, fresh scent on their fur. This is a medicated shampoo but IMO it is not a heavy duty medicated shampoo so can be used on a regular basis. It is especially great for dogs with irrigated skin (allergies) or those with dandruff problems. I believe it has a slight anti-fungal and anti-bacterial effect. It has kept both dogs dandruff free and irrigation free for over a year. I am back to buying the 64 oz size as I have given some to friends to sample. I recommend this to all my friends with dogs and especially those with skin irrigations. I think my dogs also shed less when I using this shampoo consistently probably due to their skin being in better condition. I follow the shampoo with a conditioner designed for dogs. Buddy use to make a fabulous one but now they only make a shampoo and conditioner in one product which I do not prefer.

> 24 hourThis concentrated shampoo is absolutely amazing! I mixed 1 ounce per quart of water so this one bottle will make 64 quarts or 16 gallons. My Shepherd now has fresh, soft, minty smelling super soft hair. This shampoo also conditioned his dry itchy skin... no more flakes and the comb glides through with NO resistance at all. The picture of the comb is two days after his bath. That is all the hair that he shed. If you want a great product that leaves hair soft, clean, and shiny that is cost effective; I highly recommend this product. The shampoo is light and foamy and rinses off fast. It really grabs the dirt and grime and washes away clean. I dont know if it is supposed to or not but I have noticed that the fleas and ticks do not like the fresh mint smell but I do! Good tip~ mix in some type of squeeze bottle that has a hole in cap to squirt on then rub/ massage in and rinse. When mixed properly it is not thick like normal shampoo is. I estimate that I will be able to wash my dog over 100 times with this one bottle of concentrate.

> 24 hourProfessional dog groomer here. I love the dilution rate. It seems to work the same as other shampoos I use that dilute about 32:1. Honestly, this is the absolute best Ive used to soften the really dense, coarse coats. Alternately, I never use it on dogs who require body for their too soft coat. Using it on soft coated dogs who need scissoring is counterproductive. But If you have a coat that needs softening at all, this stuff is the bomb!! The smell is a bonus. So nice!

> 24 hourI purchase for my dog and expected for this product to give my dog a good fresh scent but it really doesn’t. My dog is clean but doesn’t smell god. It could have had a little scent in it

> 24 hourI have an old bay gelding with such sensitive skin that house fly bites make welts on him. This stuff is the only thing I have found aside from ingestible medication that seems to help. As soon as I get him ready to bathe and he smells this stuff, he relaxes all over because he knows hes going to get some relief from the itchiness.

> 24 hourUsed on my two Yorkies. One has had skin allergies and on strict food diet. As with other shampoos I have used on them it maintains their coat and have no issues described by other users. One minor complaint it does not lather like I might like. Otherwise goes on with medicated smell which disappears after they dry leaving them odorless which is what I like.

> 24 hourSeriously this is the best shampoo I’ve ever used on my horse. My horse has very sensitive skin. I have used several different types of shampoos and none of them work as good as this. She does not try to rub out her main or tail . Her hair is soft silky and shiny . I will definitely be buying more of this shampoo. Absolutely love it . And you can use it on your dog too .

> 24 hourEffective for the English Mastiff Breed and any others that are susceptible to Skin irritations! Attributable to the poor quality ingredients & fillers within the majority of todays large market pet food companies! As the average consumer has been campaign marketed to believe many of these feeds are manufactured using quality, wholesome ingredients. I would explore all whom are effected to, Do your Due Dilligence for any food you may be using if your beloved pet seems to be suffering from similar symptoms, regardless of what your veterinarian says if they believe that these symptoms are not caused by the multiple billion dollar for Gross profit industry that has become the newest major focus within the pet food industry as a whole!
