Farmex/Speeco 47010600 Hay Hook Red 17

Have used many hay hooks over the years and this is the best of the lot. I wanted a long version for a unique purpose. Have a large number of vines including poison ivy growing on the bark of trees. Able to use this hook to pull vine far enough from the tree to cut it and to do so without contacting the leaves or stem.

They are very durable and heavy duty.

This Farmex hay hook it is definitely made of quality materials and very sturdy. I have no idea how handy it would be until we actually received it. you can use this hook to grab just about anything thats just out Of reach and I absolutely love it because I can never seem to reach things in the back of our pickup truck. This Hook is made it easier to grab just about anything back there for me now! Cant wait to buy more for the second truck!!! I purchased this to help me grab boxes that are delivered and left on a lower step of my porch. I have a bad knee and when a package is left on a lower step instead of my top step, it is difficult to step down when a package is blocking the way. This happened today and all I had to do was lean down and pop this into the box. It made it so easy to pull and lift the box to my top step and doorway. The package was a little large and heavy and I had no problem at all retrieving it. This is a lifesaver.

Great for handling large pieces of firewood, getting them to the log splitter for splitting. Easier on the back and arms.

Sadly, no one in Alaska sells hay hooks, or any sort of livestock/cattle supplies for that matter. So I searched and just so happen to find some on here and I was NOT disappointed. These are not light duty, in fact, I much prefer these to other peoples I have used in the past. We use these for 55-75lbs square bales, we bought an 11 inch and a 17 inch. Definitely go for the longest length as we forgot the handle takes up some of the length, so we mostly just use the 17 inch and not the 11. A solid purchase that I recommend to anyone with livestock or hay farms.

Well built. Nice length. Easily grabs a firewood round or log and comes loose with just a little tug.

These hay hooks are longer than normal, which is helpful to me. They are sturdy and easy to grip. No issues.
