Exo Terra Terrarium Decor Primate Skull

It looks awesome in my tank and I expect my ball python to love it! Just the size I wanted. The only cons would be it is a little smaller so my snake is going to out grow it. The other con would be it is pretty sharp on the inside, I just took some sand paper I had laying around and smoothed it out a bit. Id say if your looking for a cool looking hide and dont mind spending 5 minutes to smooth out the edges its worth the buy.

it’s a little too open for a ball python and a tad bit too small for a hot hide however it is very cute and adds a nice vibe to my tank :)

Great decoration item for reptiles or fish tanks. If you want a hide, however, this will only work for very small snakes like hatchling ball pythons or hognoses.

Its a great size, and a great piece, but inside and around the edges its really sharp. Its too sharp, really, for my leopard gecko or most other animals. I spent 30 minutes having to file down the sharp edges around the eyes. There was even a 1/4 inch piece I had to really cut off inside one of the eyes that any lizard crawling through would cut themselves on.

I bought this as an extra hide for my Leopard Gecko, but he doesnt seem to be a huge fan of the skull itself. Which is completely fine as it does tie in the rest of the cage quite well and serves a decent decoration. That being said im leaving a 4 star review cause as a few people here have said; you have to sand the sharp edges (which there is ALOT of), and that can take quite a bit of time (around 20-30 mins for me even with a dremel).
