Enjoyed how small it is for my baby turtles, strong clip on and comes with piece to hang if you choose to hang in from something.

Issues with switch. All depends on the type of bulb you use. Issues with clamp. Will not stay straight and may fall apart. That part should be redesigned.

I couldnt get the clamp to attach to the light, so I just had to rig it to hang up. And then it was all good! I turned it on and my birds seem to like it. :-)

When they work, these are excellent lights--with or without the clamp. However, two of four recently purchased units have had faulty in-line switches due to poor contact within the switch housing. Thus, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. These are brand new lights. Completely unreliable as a result. Wont purchase again until Exo Terra fixes this problem, and I have notified their Customer Service folks.

Great dome light. The mirror inside the dome is a really great idea when your using low wattage bulbs to get the right amount of heat or uvb. And I also like the orange light on the switch to indicate if its on or off.
