Has a lock on the front to allow easy access into the Terrarium. 2 Locks on the top keep the mesh lid on securely. Raised base keeps wires or heading bad there. Works out great for my tarantula. Only negative thing to say is the climbing wall on the back, isnt flush with the glass, it leans forward a bit off of the glass. Other than that, works great.

The perfect size for most tarantulas, scorpions, and insects. I have my pink toe tarantula in mine, and he just wanders around until he finds his spot then stays put. If you have an animal that doesnt leave its nest much, these are perfect. This is too small for most reptiles except the smallest of geckos, and may work ok for a frog, but otherwise stick to the classic 10 or 20 gallon, or the larger exo terra.

Bought for a praying mantis but my crickets kept getting out

I use nano wides for juvenile tarantulas and I love them. I do modify the tops to protect the tarantulas from damaging themselves on the mesh or chewing through it but other than that, they are the perfect show enclosure for small tarantulas! I would NOT recommend them for reptiles as they are way too small but for smaller species of invertebrates, they are fantastic! They decorate really well and I have loved the various sized exoterra enclosures for years. I am sure I will buy many more in years to come!

Im a Dart frog hobbyist. This small terrarium works perfectly for raising froglets till they are big enough to transfer to a larger enclosure. The best feature for me is the front opening door. It provides easy access to cleaning and feeding.

Good tank for one of the juveniles. With all exoterras you must be mindful of the cable vents. I didnt notice they were open until I saw crickets chilling on the top of the cage.

This enclosure is just the perfect size for one of my tarantulas. This size and brand is just one of the three that I own so far. I look forward to ordering another one when I need one and keeping my fingers crossed Ill be able to find one. Sometimes hard to find this size.
