01-11-2024When I first powered it on, there was a failure to boot and arcing sounds. I thought it shorted on something and killed my new 3090ti and my mobo. It seems fine now, but Ill definitely be keeping an eye on it.

> 3 day1000W G5 is unbearably loud. Even get a clicking sound when the fan speeds up and there is nothing touching the blades, so noise is from fan itself. Unnecessarily aggressive fan curve and after opening up the PSU found that the fan as well as other components are of lower quality since their switch to a new manufacturer. Get a SeaSonic or Corsair instead unless you get a G3 model or older.

> 3 dayI got this to replace my wimpy 480 Watt Power supply that was in my Alienware Aurora R7. Super easy to install and I felt the difference in my GTX 1080 getting the power it needed to do the job. It’s recommended to have over 550 Wats of power. Would order another when I get another computer.

> 3 dayThe power supply is well built. I love the eco feature to turn off the fan and have it spin up when the temps require it instead of always on as it extends the life of the fan but also makes it quieter.

> 3 dayIm very happy with my choice. I was going between this unit and A similar one by Corsair. Im happy I picked this one. If you know what youre doing set up is easy. It powers up great and the ECO feature is nice. No temperature problems.

> 3 dayThis is a really robust power supply. This is also my first EVGA product in a long time. I switched over from an Antec power supply this fall. Sadly the power supply I received worked well for a month and started making a loud buzzing noise that is beyond cool whine (which I am used to). I am hoping customer support sees this and can help.

> 3 dayMy whole system power draw with everything stressed at the same time max out at 490w yet the fans for the PSU keeps ramping up over light load (playing WoW which hardly stresses the PC)
