> 3 dayI have these in two PCs currently. I have been building PCs for 20 years, and this has been my go to PSU since it released. The warranty is incredible, and evgas customer service is second to none. I cant recommend this enough.

> 3 dayIt has been a good and reliable PSU with a moderately powerful system (overclocked 5600x, 980 Ti). However, the fan is extremely loud and will turn on based on the power draw, not based on the temperature of the PSU, so whenever for example a game is opened, the fan cranks up to 100% immediately and is extremely loud and can be annoying. In some games, if you open a menu, the fan will slow down a lot, and then back to 100 immediately after closing the menu.

> 3 dayI got one of these to replace one that was no longer in warranty several years ago and it has lasted very well. Of course when I do a new build, this NL s now my go-to for computer power supplies. I would definitely buy another for my next new build!!!

> 3 dayWhile the PSU is pretty good the instructions provided are mixing something super important. This PSU will not work at all of you use your old motherboard cable. If you replace some cables and not all of them you’ll fry some components. Most important lesson is to always use extensions on a build. Otherwise you’ll have to reword everything when upgrading or replacing a PSU.

> 3 dayDoes exactly what it needs to do. After a month, its developed horrible coil whine when the GPU is put under moderate or higher stress. I am absolutely certain its not the GPU making the noise. I did not notice it until I put in an AIO for the CPU to replace a 10+ year old fan.

09-11-2024Upgraded from an old EVGA 850 GQ, which had the absolute worst coil whine when my GPU was under load. Purchased old PSU second-hand for cheap and had none of the extra modular cables, so decided with that, and the coil whine that it was time to upgrade.
