> 24 hourIt’s a good PSU. I got it for $ 95 and it’s a great PSU. So far no problems and it was easy to install. It’s pretty quite. I wouldn’t say completely silent but during gaming you can’t even hear it. My old PSU sounded like a lawnmower and this is a big improvement. It’s smaller than my evga bq 650w. And the temperature in my room seems lower too.

> 24 hourThis 850 model is good. Never an issue so far with multiple builds

> 24 hourIn the years Ive been building rigs with ludicrous power requirements (think 10 graphic cards worth of power) Ive inevitably had PSUs from all different brands- some would just die or some would just not boot the system at all. EVGA has been the go-to since Ive had numerous failures from Corsair, Thermaltake, Seasonic, and an ungodly number from brands that probably had no business building power supplies in the first place. I dont abuse my hardware, nor do I baby it, but I do expect it to do its job.

> 24 hourMy favorite part is that it’s modular and the price with decent quality. The only negative I see is that it doesn’t have the full compliment of cpu power cords and plugs. Though likely overclocking with this supply is a bad idea for those reasons. Perfect for my setup though if you ever want to upgrade to a 2080 or 30 series nvidia card you will want to go ahead and get the 750 watt and above version. Good overall supply.

> 24 hourAll of a sudden PC started crashing due to kernal power error 41 and the fan (for the power supply specifically) started sounding like a jet engine. It may have surged and damaged some of my other components. Found out there is currently a lawsuit ongoing related to this specific PSU... Avoid at all costs if you want a quiet, reliable PSU.

> 24 hourThe install for me took a bit because my computer case has hidden areas the power supply cables go through, but it was an easy install. Just unthreaded the old and threaded the new (never use old cables for a newer power supply). A bit extra power for upgrades later. Noise is non existent. Good price.
