Part arrived on time and was well packed so it arrived in good condition. I was surprised to find a complete set of installation instructions as well as a new wiring harness. These were not listed in the online description of the item. I am a very handy DIYer and found the instructions easy to follow when comparing their diagrams and directions to my own pictures of the wiring (before I removed anything).

I recently took on the endeavor of replacing my furnace blower motor after having an AC mechanic quote me almost a 1000.00 dollars to do so. I did my research and found that this motor has performed well for many and that the installation was simple. The motor came in well packaged and as described. I was able to remove the old motor with some difficulty and replace with the Evergreen. The installation was very simple, literally mount and plug in the existing cables.

Worked well to replace the stock motor at a much better price than OEM

Perfect replacement for burned out 10 year old motor at a fraction of the cost. Easy to change if you’re technically inclined, my existing wiring harness plugged right in. My AC hasn’t blown this much air, this strong since I’ve owned this house (of course this is the first day it has been used) I Will update this review if anything changes after a few weeks of running it.

I was happy to find this motor as the cost of the motor was less than half of the labor cost of an HVAC tech to come out and replace it under warranty. However, the motor only lasted 20 months. But, because I cannot find a better deal out there I will probably go with another and take my chances. Also, maybe there is a warranty, but I could never reach anyone at the manufacturer/seller. To replace in my HVAC it had to: -Pull the electrical disconnect -Remove the front panel (6 screws) -Remove the ground wire screw -Remove screw on other side of hanger -Remove wire harnes -Remove 2 other wires -Slide motor out -Loosen set screw holding fan -Remove fan -Remove 3 mounting screws -Remove motor from housing -Losen collar around motor -Remove motor -Put in new motor -Reverse all above steps

My local AC company wanted $1200 to replace the blower motor on my 2010 Carrier fx4dnf019t00aaa. I order this $200 motor on Friday and installed this morning in under an hour (in attic and Im 67 years old). Started up, sensed proper fan direction and now works like a charm! Rip of from AC crooks averted for once.
