WoW!! My hubby encouraged me to spend the money and get a high-end projector. I used it the first time today and I must say that hubby was right. I downloaded and ran the executable file for the USB connection. All I had to do was connect the laptop to the projector, turn on both than walk away. The projector automatically detected the screen, adjusted to the screen size, adjusted the keystone then waited for me to start my presentation. No more anxiety about AV and if it will or will not work at my next training. Several audience members commented on how bright and clear to display was. A few said it was the best display they had ever seen and that the picture was so clear and crisp that it looks like a television, not a projected image. Others will talk about the lumens, how it does the magic tricks, brightness, etc. I want it simple and predictable. This projector more than fits that bill.

They customer service sent a replacement bulb and it solved the overheating issue. Great option. The projector has GREAT picture and GREAT Quality. The size is GREAT. Unfortunately, during my first presentation, I am a professional speaker, after about an hour use, it shut down completely. It not only created a problem, it cost me $200 as i had to use the Hotels backup projector and the hotel fees are outrageous. Call tech support, helpful, but they only asked me to wait for the lamp to cool down and retry... I can do it if I use it for leisure, not as a professional speaker!! They want me to try it again... Will do, but do not see why things will be different. Can I really trust now this projector???? Do not think so...

One of the best projectors I have owned. I especially like the low profile and light weight, as I travel extensively with it.

This is a good choice for those who travel and make presentations, as its very light and compact. The image quality is excellent, and it throws enough light to work well even in a room with some ambient light. It also is easy to set up and can be connected to a laptop via USB, VGA as well as wireless network. Its wireless network function also allows a mobile device or tablet to be connected. My only criticisms are that it runs a bit hot, and its fan is quite loud. Also, the audio output is absolutely dismal and even in a small room youll need another device, such as amplified speakers, if your presentation has sound. Making matters worse, for some reason the audio output jack which is supposed to drive amplified speakers does not work. I am pretty confident I had all the correct settings, but there is simply no audio output from the projector. The work-around is to simply use my laptops audio output to drive a small amplified sound bar, which works very well. Since Im a photographer, Im more interested in the image quality anyway.

Great projector, very clear, bright, and easy set up. Auto screen sizing and auto keystone works well. Remote easy to figure out if you want to use it (also has buttons on projector for setup). Fan noise is noticeable, but not bad unless youre in a really small room. Needed to cool the bright bulb. So far have connected it to my laptop (usb connection is laggy so use HDMI if you can) and wirelessly to my iPad. Direct wireless connection to iPad was really easy, took about 1 minute to download app, projector shows QR code, pointed my iPad at it and bam it was connected. Could project my iPad pictures just like old school slide projector. Very small light projector so its easily portable. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The included soft-sided carry case has some padding, but a hard-sided case would probably be a good idea if you transport it a lot to protect your investment. Wouldnt want to drop it in the soft-sided case. I recommend this if you are looking for a good quality projector and can afford it.

It is small, and for my purpose it fit the bill. But it is loud, like you notice the fan the entire time its on. It also doesnt seem to be as bright as I would have liked. But it does auto keystone very well and it is a short throw. So if you have a space or weight concern this will probably work for you. One downside is the remote is still IR so it does have to be pointed right at it.

The image quality of this projector is great. It has only one hdmi slot, which I knew when I bought it. The one weakness I would point out is the lack of pass through audio - typical of most Epson business projectors. I think that would be a great addition as most business presentations need to be supplemented by sound. However, you can probably do it from your computer/laptop with the right settings. Im very pleased with the size and weight of the projector. The case is adequate, and Im happy to have this projector for business and personal presentations.

Very good projector especially if you want to do a presentation or watch a movie in daytime or outside, it has enough lumen for that purpose. Maybe you will be surprised with the very loud fan noise at first, but this is resolved turning power consumption in ECO mode. THERE IS NO audio output, not even bluetooth so you have to connect your computer or your blue-ray/DVD player directly to your speaker or soundbar. The built in speaker sound is mediocre so dont count on that unless you are watching movies in your room and not outside. Anyway this projector is mainly for presentation purposes. Very expensive. If you want a projector to watch a movie in your living room with the curtain closed, and maybe connecting roku directly, this is not your projector. Its preferable to buy a cheap, maybe 400$ LG projector with bluetooth so you can connect to your bluetooth speaker.

Not cheap, great image and very bright. The combination of 3000+ lumens and WXGA, with a very light unit makes this my top choice. Ive compared many projectors, and this is by far my preferred traveling projector. Larger than those mini-sized, yes, but I can project in well-lit rooms and still have plenty of brightness where those cheap mini projectors would be nearly invisible onscreen. Used extensively for travel and presentations, a good resolution for photo/video, and does a great job of self-focus. I very rarely have to tweak anything, except when Im in a bad room with steep angles and poor projection surface. Even then, it gets pretty close on its own to squaring up the screen. The auto-adjust is a little sensitive to movement, say if someone bumps the table hard enough. It will sense the change and readjust, which is distracting at times. The remote is effective. This allows USB as a video hookup, but this was unusably laggy in my experience, and also caused stutter in my video/audio output. (Windows 8 Pro, Lenovo laptop of 2016 vintage.) I switched back to HDMI, and all problems ceased. One thing to be aware of, if this needs repair, you may have mixed results with Epson. On a previous projector (same model), I was forced to check my bag on the airline, and found that when I got it back later, the corner of the projector had been cracked where the leveling leg is. Epson sent me to an authorized repair center, which could not fix the issue because Epson did not supply those parts. The projector functions fine, just does not have the screw-down leveling leg working any more. So, good example of how tough it is, I guess, still works after a good smack, but would love to have some repair option besides a DIY epoxy fix.
