So there are a lot of knock-off inks out there but do you want to use them in your printer? Probably not. If you have any problems, one of the first question Epson tech support will ask is if youre using Epson ink. If you cant answer yes, youre going to be on your own. This replacement product is just like the ink that ships with the printer. But there are no instructions shipped with the ink. How hard is it to open a bottle and pour it in a reservoir? Not hard at all. But how do you reset the printer to indicate that the ink levels have changed? Thats a bit different. This information should be included with the product instead of the user having to hunt around for it. And for me, even worse was when I tried to reset the ink levels some sensor got damaged which killed my whole printer. Be informed.

After years of struggling with replaceable ink jet cartridges, we bought an Epson ink tank printer and will never go back. Under normal household use by two of us, the initial ink supply lasted 3 years. Refilling the color tanks is easy and the print quality is great. Have had no problems at all.

I bought an epson ecotank a few years ago because I knew the cost of ink was going to be dramatically lower than the ink cartridges that I used to have for other printers. In the past I had bought individual bottles but then one day I found this and realized it was a much better deal than buying the bottle separately. Two important things to keep in mind for epson eco tank users: 1. Always use epson ink, dont try to buy a knock off....I almost messed up my printer this way. 2. When you are refilling the ink, either have a box of tissues close by to absorb any ink dribbles or wear rubber gloves, but the tissues seem to do the job perfectly well.

I did not like the fact that these bottles do not match the tops of the bottles on the printer. Cant fill them directly.
