My Master finsh carpenter Grandfather my dad an myself all journeymen carpenters used Elmers and its still the best you can find and love the price .

Its wood glue... as Ive learned, if you need super adhesion and durability, use a gorilla glue type thing. This works well for filling holes and gouges in wood for me... as far as adhesion, Ive been a bit disappointed. It gets knocked away pretty easily. Again, that may be handy for certain uses...but I would not recommend this as just for sticking stuff together! Super glue has worked much better for that.

I piece of my grandmothers little side table drawer broke off so I bought this and glued it back together. The bond seems great. So far, so good anyway.
