Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I never used an accessory like this before, But after seeing many people on youtube using this to set up quick buttons to launch apps, and other simple things without having to navigate windows to find the program, is very nice. Now hat i have used this device for a while and got more advanced with using its buttons to help my active quick, or repeditive stuff with in the program i use. I now dont think i can use a PC without one of these items.

I heard about the Elgato stream deck from many streamers online. I have their Facecam and Wave 3 Microphone. So figured Id pull the trigger on their stream deck. Im so glad I did! This thing is capable of so much. I use it for content creation and everyday work stuff. You can set up different profiles for whatever you are doing. Programming this thing is easy once you download the software. The Stream Deck has so much capability. You can program it to open apps/tabs, adjust volume, record, command hotkeys, mute the mic, change scenes, Record, Go Live, etc. You can add plugins to other apps you use and program your stream deck. Even if you dont make content, you can program it for everyday usage on any desktop or laptop. This is an essential piece to any workstation or home office. I highly recommend it to anyone.

This stream deck was used at church it was easy to set up and use . Really did make it easier in church service streaming .

So, as a bit of preamble, my mother lives in New York and Im currently living in Texas with aspirations of getting out of this state a soon as possible. Be that as it may, I tend to just ask for money for Christmas. Its easy and quick to transfer, and I can hold onto it for something big down the line, but this year, she insisted I make a list of things that Id want, she was adamant about making me pick presents. So, I made a simple list, that ultimately boiled down to, if nothing else, I wanted an HS60 S capture card and a stream deck XL, the two that have the bundle option here. I was away for Christmas, for the most part, but on Christmas, I did get my capture card and stream deck, as well as the money to buy the other things I wanted.

This is a very neat concept but i cant do any special overlay or anything when steaming straight to YouTube. in order to do any of the fun stuff, it shows I have to stream to OBS then download my stream and upload it to my youtube channel making a lot more steps and taking more time.
