El Cid: The Conqueror

It needs to be advertised as a graphic novel! You have to look down at the publisher to figure it out. Its fine if that was what you wanted, but it was not what I wanted.

Impossible to read because font is so small. Very poor conversion to electronic format. No way to enlarge font sufficiently.

Beautifully illustrated although it doesnt follow the book The Song of Mio Cid/El Cantar de Mio Cid, it has a lot of dialogs, a little bit more action wouldnt have hurted, El Cid was merciful and also generous, some illustrations can be a little bit explicit for little kids, knowing El Cid and his leyend, the story could have been better but if you are familiar with the book i think its worth checking/reading, recommended for teen and mature readers

Im a big fan and connoisseur of EL CID, Im even from his hometown, however, when I saw that the writers couldnt event write his surname properly,(which is RODRIGO DIAZ DE VIVAR, not BIVAR), I automatically refuse to even consider to buy it.
