It is too bad that right now today, in Latino communities everywhere, there are too many hot headed homeboys who partake in criminally violent behavior, and not enough heroes like this. Where other species of people here in America are graced with hero representation in the media, most of what Latinos have come from the likes of Escobar, Guzman, Beltran-Leyva, Qintero, Felix Brothers, and all the other wannabes on both sides of the border. Positive role models for children are important for they are our future, where this film gives a gritty portrayal of one in a bleak community. With a bigger budget, more time developing the story, as well as more care given to directing, acting, and editing, this film could have been outstanding. As it stands, it was good, and long overdue. PS: In the trivia, it is mentioned that when the filmmakers went to a Hollywood production company with the story, they were told it should be more anglicized. Eternal shame on whoever that was, for failing to consider the amount of money Latino people spend at the box office for many released films.

Awsome movie very underated but of course since it is not Marvel no one gave it a chance well when they rent it they will be suprised i hope they make a sequel but i doubt it cuz now n days if it makes no money then no sequel
