> 24 hourJunk !! flattened on the first strike and didn’t even scratch the surface of my piece of steel that wasn’t even hardened in the forge yet which means the metal was still soft.

> 24 hourI bought this punch because the picture clearly shows that it was a sharp pointed punch. I ordered two of them, and both came with a 1/4 round (flat) head. I sharpened both to a point and they work good but I didn’t get why they would advertise one thing, and sell a different thing.

> 24 hourIt knocked to rusted bolts loose enough to hit with penetrating oil, and they broke loose.

> 24 hourI just got these, three of them because I have them in different tool kits in different places. I have not used them yet, so maybe premature to review. THey do seem like a good quality steel alloy for the purpose BUT as others have mentioned, the final grind or hone of the point is lacking. Of the three I got, only one actually has a straight grind face with an actual point. The other two have a bit of a round to the grind face and the tip is not what I would expect to get a good sharp indent. I will have to take them to the grinder and see what I can get out of them without excess heat and loss of temper. For the price, I think they are good. If these fail me like the other inexpensive ones I have used, it will just be time to pony up and get the Tekton or the Starrett ones and these will get relegated to masonry work or something other than more precise metal work. They are definitely nice chunky things and there is plenty of material to work with.
