Buying this, uninstalling the old ones and installing this new set was EASY! Everything went smooth. They work GREAT! As good or better than the old ones. OE look and fitment at a fraction of the cost. The local auto parts store wanted $45 EACH. $90 for a set of lift supports seemed crazy. Happy I looked on here. One note- the clocking of the roof bracket to the connection point was off when they arrived, which is normal. Just compress the piston slightly and it will allow you to freely rotate the head into the correct position. I place one end against the floor and compressed the unit with gloves on. Doesnt take much force and allows for precise alignment.

Works perfect as a replacement although the little headpiece is cheap and doesnt work as well as the OEM. Trying to open it with a screwdriver and ended up twisting around making it unusable. On the bright side I was able to take off the OEM ones and put it on the new lifts. Lifts work fantastic super strong.

Very simple to install. Replacement for the worn-out set in my kid’s Accord. They work great!

Fit my car fine, and holds up the hood very well - much better than the failing ones I replaced. Only issue was installing the clip - I would suggest unscrewing the body end and just putting that on first as the clip can be difficult to remove, however once you get this done, its a very easy install.
