Filter was very easy to replace, the only down side was the cost was high.

UPDATE: has a sweet smell coming out of it after a couple months of 24/7 usage. A quick search says it’s the carbon filters, but I don’t smell that in my other filter straight from dyson. The smell makes me nauseous. When it comes to air quality, you don’t want to cheapen out. Yes, Dyson’s filters are more expensive, but what you get is quality control from a trusted brand. It’s fits properly and is consistent. I wish I took a before picture because my last filter was all black. As someone who suffers from massive allergies, these Dyson purifiers are life savers. I rarely get allergy attacks in the last 5 years that I’ve gotten them. I can’t risk buying the cheap knockoffs.

Delivery was prompt and the product ia in good condition.

This put my family at risk during the NYC air crisis. This is not a Dyson manufactured filter. This is dangerous. It weighs substantially less, the weave is different on the inside of the filter, and the fonts and print color of the logos are way off from the original. This did not clean the air in my home, the status remains at “very poor” while using this fake filter. Even with the setting on 10 and being left on for days, the air quality did not improve. Once I switched to a genuine Dyson filter the air quality in my home improved significantly and the sensors in the Dyson rated the air quality as good after running the unit for a short period. DO NOT BUY!

Its rather cheaper than buying from the retailers and it works perfectly.

This filter is pricey, but with a Dyson what else would you expect. On the positive side, it was easy to install.

My old genuine filter was completely full of dust eve it was only 40% of it life time. I guess the new one will work the same.
