> 3 dayI wanted this paper to stick on flat surfaces for intial sharpening of planer blades.I needed something fairly aggressive to start the sharpening process on carbide blades and it works well, would last longer if blades were steel.I have used Dura Gold sanding discs before and that is why I picked this brand.Good value for the money.

> 3 daySandpaper cuts easily with scissors or knife to sanding block size. Back side paper was tough to remove with fingernails; wedging a knife under the paper did the trick. Paper sticks to the block very well. I left a little overhang of paper on the block to protect the shape of the block and the paper still sticks to the corners. No pull up. I have been sanding Everglass, which is tough stuff. Paper is long-lasting and doesnt stay clogged. I shop vacuum the sandpaper surface many times and the grit is still viable and clears nicely. I have trouble saying the paper is spent!

> 3 dayA quick way to sharpening your chisels and cutting irons. Problematic for two reasons. The sticky back will slide after longer usage. Stick back work to a certain degree. Best to fold the ends of the strip of sandpaper you use over the work surface to secure the piece in place. Also best to wash the surface of the float-glass, stone or other hard smooth surface after usage. Otherwise the sticky residue will be extremely difficult to clean

> 3 dayI have woodworking as a hobby; sandpaper is a necessity. I have, traditionally bought the large sheets and cut them to size. It seems like I always need to cut some up when Im in the middle of a project. I started buying this because of the adhesive back to use on saw fences so the wood didnt slip during cutting Sometimes I use it adhered to a bench top so I can slide the wood over the sandpaper on a perfectly flat surface. And, it is exactly the right width for my sandpaper holders; I use 3 of them, one for each size I have 100 grit, 150 grit and 220 grit. And, it is easy to tear off a piece for small project needs without cutting up an entire sheet. The quality of the paper is excellent, and the backing is easy to remove. Great Product

> 3 dayBought the 800 grit. Wet sanded the gelcoat on the entire bottom of a 14 foot sailboat with the same piece on my 9 inch rubber sanding block. Gelcoat is a demanding application for sandpaper, this stuff passed the test. I normally buy Mirka but couldnt get it in 800 on short notice. There is release paper covering the adhesive which preserves the sticky back but demands a different storage solution from the other kind where I just chuck them all in a bin. Will buy this brand in other grades when I need them.
