> 3 dayBought this product for spouse. We were having trouble finding a deodorant strong enough to help with his sweat but gentle enough for his sensitive skin. I have to say that this deodorant worked okay. It didn’t irritate his skin, but it was only slightly more effective than his old deodorant. It’s not a bad product, but it didn’t really give us what we were looking for. Probably won’t purchase again.

> 3 dayWhile its not terrible, its priced in the range of all the other clinical strength deodorants and is not quite up to par with their quality. I am a very sweaty guy. My friends make fun of me because we can be sitting by an a/c unit, and Im still sweating. Its just how I am. I have tried every clinical strength deodorant Ive been able to find. I love Dove soap, so figured Id give this a go. While it is certainly not terrible, and will get the job done for most people, its just not as good as the others. If it was a lot cheaper, Id probably still use it as it does offer relief. But, I still found myself sweating in multiple occasions (although much less). At a very similar price point you can buy Gillette clinical strength. This is by far the best on the market. You cannot go wrong with Gillette for razors and deodorant.

Greater than one weekI’m very impressed by this product. For reference: I’m a black (Nigerian-American) male with sensitive skin. The last thing I’ve been unable to figure out was how to get my underarms to stop reacting to products. I tried a lot of antiperspirants without any improvement, so I figured my skin didn’t like the Aluminum (active ingredient). I ended up switching to a deodorant (both regular and “natural” brands) instead of an antiperspirant. This helped with my skin reactivity but these other deodorants would stain my shirts plus I was missing the antiperspirant effect. Finally, after reading these reviews and doing more homework on the mechanism of action of antiperspirant products on sweat glands, I decided to give this a try and I’m happy I did. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! Apply this [preferably] at night, and let it be for [preferably] 24 hours before you apply again. You don’t need to use a lot of product—only two clicks as it suggests. The idea is that you want this product to contact you armpit skin’s sweat glands as evenly distributed and as efficiently as possible. I’m a mild-to-moderate sweater and this technique works perfectly. Make sure to lightly wash your underarms every 24 hours before reapplication—this will help with staining. As far as the antiperspirant effect goes, the aluminum binds to receptors on your sweat glands to temporarily shut them down. For me this lasts about 24 hours. It might be shorter for some and longer for others. Experiment with this only AFTER you’ve followed the initial directions. Great mild scent, great applicator, and effective ingredients. Good luck!

> 3 dayThis product far exceeded my expectations. Keeps you drier than other brands. The scent is extremely light, not cloying in any way at all. The anti-perspirant continues to work even after showering. The thin layer of stuff (sticky layer) remains for up to two or three days, but when you shower, of course, the body odor is removed. Allowing you to use this at night before bed. Allow it to dry.. and then the next morning, one can choose a non-antiperspirant with a better scent, because the anti… is still active for you. Worked from the first time i used it… even though i walked in ninety five degree heat. Of course your going to sweat, but not like before. And then after the second time i used it, i could alternate between this product and the better smelling Sam’s deoderant’s such as cedar etc etc.. when the sweat started to become something to deal with again, i once more applied this product before bed as instructions state to do. Ad infinitum … well worth the money. One also does not need to rub this in back and forth in ridiculous amounts. Use a thin layer, once up one side of the “pit”… down the other. And that’s all you need to do. It does NOT destroy one’s clothing with stains either. Perfect companion for summer heat. Will definitely recommend to others. As well as recommend people read the instructions on an anti-perspirant so it will work best. Who knew most of us were applying these wrong for so long? Lol

> 3 dayI was tired to my old antiperspirant/deodorant failing before the end of the day while crumbling, staining clothing and clumping. This product has a higher percentage of active ingredients than other products. It comes in a semi-solid form which isnt gel but isnt quite a solid either. It smells good and has a moisturizer which helps sensitive skin and prevents irritation. There was no clumping or flaking and it doesnt stain my clothing. The price is a little higher than other brands but I think that its worth the price. I followed the directions and used this product at night and it was still working the following day. I would definitely recommend this antiperspirant.

> 3 dayI think this stuff takes a while to kick-in but Ive gone from pouring sweat out of my pits (sometimes in a cool room, under non-stressful conditions) to putting this on about once a week and feeling dry as a bone -- unless Im working out. I get a little skin irritation, and some may find the tackiness unpleasant, but I think this product is totally worth it. ** Edit, March 2015: I dont know what happened. It might be a change in the product formula or it might be a change in my body. Dove clinical used to dry out my pits completely and consistently. Then everything changed. Without changing my routine I began to sweat more and more until I was simply pouring sweat out of my armpits for no reason. You know its bad when youre stuffing napkins into your armpits every 15 minutes and still creating huge sweat patches on your shirts. A radical change was needed and I decided to ditch aluminum based anti antiperspirants for a while. Day by day I noticed less pit sweating. For the last couple of weeks Ive put nothing in my pits but a couple of squirts of cologne to keep the BO away and Im dry as a bone. Excessive sweating is a source of huge embarrassment and physical discomfort for many people and I would say this product is worth a try if youre desperate -- we all react so differently to different products. For me, I can honestly say that Dove now makes me sweat more than when I wear no antiperspirant at all.

> 3 dayAn easy 5 stars if you can make this exact one without aluminum. Otherwise, the scent isnt overwhelming. Definitely gender neutral but that is to be expected for a non-irritant. It is hard to find both an antiperspirant and deodorant together and this product does its job well. Scratch the aluminum and youll have a lifetime customer. Also, the item came with heat damage (Louisiana summertime probably to blame) and was replaced with next day shipping so thank you for that.
