The material looks and feels like it will be durable. Plus, it looks so much nicer than the towel!! I also believe it will do a better job of keeping out the dust. If you have a Canon Pro 300, and are looking for a dust cover, I would definitely recommend this one.

> 24 hourThe construction is reasonable with clean, straight stitching and the fabric is thick and sturdy. I use it to cover my Canon Pixma iX6820 printer and theres a bit extra room to also cover a small fan I keep next to it. It does a great job at keeping the dust out.

What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge.
