This antenna appears to be very high quality, it attaches, swivels and folds securely. The problem is that in any configuration this antenna does not provide any noticeable signal improvement over the stock antenna in any of the bands. My advice is to save your money.

Give better signal than stock Antenna, and good for handheld multiband scanner receiver as well.

Good antenna added alot of strength to our home patrol 2, but still not strong enough to pick up the county I needed

This is an excellent antenna for any handheld scanner. While it does just fine totally collapsed, it you take a moment to tune it for the band of interest, youll experience instant increase in reception. The only downside is the tuning chart is written in reflective silver making it almost impossible to read without a good lens and indirect lighting.

This is perfect for my Uniden Home Patrol 2 as it bends at the base and sets at the correct angle. The sound is clearer than the rubber ducky it came with. It is a bit on the expensive side, though.
