Received product today. It wrapped in brown paper and rubberbands. No documents, packing slip, or anything (pic attached) Simple device to plug and play. I hooked it to my computer and it said device could not be recognized. To unplug device and try again. If error persist, device may be malfunctioned. Not to quote, but along those lines. The device fan did come on when I initially plugged it in; its incredibly loud. I unplugged the device power supply and the fan stopped. I plugged it in again and the fan did not come. I received the same error from my PC. I noticed that both the light on the box and the cord did not come on (pic attached). I thought maybe it was a weak connection, so I checked the cord to the PC. I notice that it was bent (pic attached) in comparison to the one previously owned (pic attached). I will return the product.

Displayport video outputs do not work with new LG 32 4k monitors. Audio outputs stopped working as well after driver/bios update. The computer is a brand new Dell Latitude 5310. Dell is consistently trash throughout the PC market; its awful that they are able to dump their trash at or below cost throughout the business market.

Product worked great for first 85 days. Then, almost exactly on day 85 the internal fan would kick on more frequently and often. It is loud enough to be a noticeable distraction. I hadnt changed anything with my setup. I downloaded and installed all the latest Dell drivers for the product. I also monitored the Task Manager for any unusually high activity, but there was none. Im using this with 2 Dell monitors and a Lenovo Yoga 7i laptop, all with updated drivers. By the time Id tried all the troubleshooting I could, the Amazon 90 day warranty had expired. So disappointing. The loud, annoying docking station fan still kicks in unpredictably and its a mystery as to why and for how long it will last. Also, the on/off switch on the top never did work. If it was refurbished because of the fan, the issue was never truly fixed.

Replace similar product From Amazon that broke when using in home office. Integrated usb c cabling separated from pins. This device replaced it. Hope it. Lasts longer.

Despite the promises, the dock looks 10 years old, with scratches and all. Worse, it makes all kinds of noises. Not worth it.

I ordered 3 of these. The first one out of the box still had the previous owners inventory sticker on it, and it wouldnt power on. And its not a small sticker - its 2 inches by 3 inches, in silver. The second one has a broken USB port - the blue plastic protecting the wires is missing. Both of these should have been fixed even before sending them back out, or in the case of the second one, not even sent. The third one has random USB connect/disconnect issues. Im returning all three for a refund. I dont want to both with more flaky renewed ones.

I received a damaged unit it didnt boot at all, at least Amazon allow me to return the defective product and after I receive my refund I bought a cheaper w15 docking station by dell, so I cant really say anything good, other thing (bad) I noticed is that the USB ports on this docking station are not enough

The fan didn’t work then started working intermittently. It would come on for seconds then Cut off and come back on about 7 or 8 times in a row then nothing for hours and sometimes days. They sent me a second one and the fan has yet to come on and I have had it a few weeks now.

The USB-C port (which is physically attached to the device... its not a cable) came cosmetically damaged and wrapped in black electrical tape. Seems a little finicky when plugging in.
