I have been gaming on this monitor for about a week, usually FPS games, and it has performed very nicely. This was my first upgrade from 60hz to 144hz (143.85hz) and its lightyears better. This monitor is sturdy and the small bezels give it a very sleek design. The only issue Ive noticed so far is that the brightness/picture quality fades a bit when viewing at sharp angles other than straight on. This isnt an issue for me though as my desk allows me to sit directly in front of the monitor. Ive read that other buyers have received models with dead pixels or other physical defects, but I have none so far. This is a GREAT monitor for the price and I highly recommend if you are looking for a budget 144hz monitor.

My monitor had all sorts of issues where the image would glitch out really bad at 120 and 144hz. This happened when I was using the HDMI cable that the monitor came with. I thought Id read somewhere that it was compatible, but maybe that just wasnt true. BUY A DISPLAYPORT CABLE. Completely fixed my issue, 100%. Joystick button on the back seems like an unnecessary and likely point of failure. Image quality is 4/5. If youre wondering if theres a difference between your 60hz monitor and this 144hz one, it depends: If you are going to play games on it and regularly get over 100fps: oh my god yes. If you dont get over 100 fps, or you arent looking to game on this: stick to 60hz and save your money because all of the impact you see will just be placebo.

darker colors, specifically black, could be much sharper, but its generally great for most cases. perfect for gaming, but if youre a visual artist (3D or 2D) although the workflow is MUCH smoother, a few extra dollars could to a more color-friendly monitor

This monitor is very good for the money. It offers high refresh rate, and great image quality if you spend the time to adjust the settings. The color presets are terrible, but it is absolutely possible to dial in a great image on this monitor. The viewing angles are okay, the color distorts pretty quickly when not looking straight at the screen, but that is to be expected with any panel of this type. For gaming I think this is the best budget pick I have found. The stand is nice and adjustable for both height and angle.

After returning my LG UltraGear 24GL600F-B for its horrible color banding, I was worried that I wouldnt find anything better in this price range for gaming AND artwork. I do a lot on my computer, and I need a monitor that supports that. No pixel issues, the stand is amazing, the whole thing is ergonomic with how it stands higher up than others, allowing you to view at a more natural angle. The thing is really close to being borderless, it looks so smooth and doesnt suffer from any glare issues. I only had to adjust my computers gamma, and going into testing contrast, black and white saturation, etc through Lagom, I can say this monitor has surprised me. Im just so glad I decided to refund that other one, and go for this. Who knew Dell makes such good monitors? I guess I do now.

Its advertised as 144Hz but it comes with an HDMI cable which only allows up to 120Hz in HD. I suppose I have to buy a DisplayPort cable or HDMI 1.3 above? Also, the colors look kinda bland, and different presets barely do anything to help. My previous 60Hz $70 monitor had better vivid coloring, and this monitor is more than twice the price (over $150). Its all right.
