I used this 12 travel actuator to slide a door open and closed remotely when I need to lock my dog inside before the gardeners come on Tuesdays. Although they call this high speed its not quick by any stretch. I suppose that compared to other long throw actuators this might be fast, but not by my measure. Still, it gets the job done without me having to drive home.

I purchased this in November 2022. The motor fell off 2 months later. Item is still under warranty. Contacted seller multiple times with no response.

Purchased for an automatic chicken coop door. I had to file both bracket pin holes to connect them properly to the actuator. The alignment was so far off on the motor side it wouldn’t connect at all, the other end would connect but would not freely move. The actuator operation is smooth and not as loud as I was expecting. I’m satisfied over all with this product and would buy again for the value.

Used this actuator to control a pivot on a project. First, the actuator is extremely slow operating. Second, it snapped off the rear mounting ear (on the motor housing) on the first use. Its made from extremely cheap cast aluminum and the second it got tweaked, it snapped clean off. Not sure of the actual force limit of this item because the design failed before I could really test the force limits of the unit. Maybe I torqued the actuator across an axis I didnt think I was, but this shouldnt be a failure point given the rating of the actuator.
