Greater than one weekEdit: I got used to the extreme mintyness and don’t notice it anymore. Going to continue using this toothpaste indefinitely because of the hodroxyapatite and recyclable tube. Original review: I can’t believe this toothpaste says it’s for sensitive teeth because this is the strongest mint flavor I’ve ever tasted it toothpaste. It makes my eyes water and burns on my tongue, and I don’t have sensitive teeth. I’ll still use it because I want to minimize my cavities and I like that the tube is recyclable.

Greater than one weekNot falling for this again… Love the toothpaste, absolutely HATE the actual tube this company uses. In order to save some money, I ordered David’s instead of the more expensive Japanese brand hydroxyapatite toothpaste I love. David’s sends a hefty chunk of metal with each tube to help you “roll” the last bits of the product out but trust me, the minute you open this toothpaste tube, the product literally EXPLODES out of it, and not just the first time, but EVERY TIME you open it. This tube design or material has exploded so much product that half of the tube is down the drain so it’s a total waste of money. This is the second time I’ve ordered this and the same scenario has occurred. Toothpaste explodes out of the tube, doesn’t matter how much I try and manage it down or up the tube. It’s a mess. Overall: tastes okay, is very abrasive, is a semi decent product, but has terrible packaging. They also need to leave the chunk of metal out because I feel weird throwing this crap away every time I order a tube of toothpaste. What a waste of product AND metal. After 2 orders of this toothpaste and probably more than half the exploding product down the drain, I found a different product that once opened, has been neat and tidy, tastes great and is even less expensive than David’s.

> 3 dayThe toothpaste itself is nice. Like the taste, etc. But the tube and the lid are terrible. My counter is constantly covered in toothpaste. The tube itself developed cracks anywhere it was squeezed at all and the lid leaks, so I tried one of those silicone stopper lids, and it leaks out of that too. Not sure what to do other than find a jar to put whats left in it so I dont lose the nice product!

> 3 dayWe brush with Sensodyne because weve heard this toothpaste is a bit abrasive and we have bad teeth, but we coat our teeth in Davids after brushing and let it sit (spitting out excess) as directed by my dentist, after doing that daily for a few weeks I have actually started to see real results, Ive pretty much never seen actual, visible results from toothpaste before, decay/staining was always something that just happened overtime completely consistently. But NOW with Davids, Im actually seeing decay spots start to shrink all across my teeth, the whitening is pretty effective as stains are starting to dissipate too, and this is just from coating with Davids, we dont even fully brush with it. If youve never used an hydroxyapatite toothpaste I very highly recommend Davids!

Greater than one weekThis toothpaste is very minty and not sweet… and i love that. It made my teeth feel really clean… first time I used it. Lets see if it keeps some coffee stain away…its a bit pricey…

> 3 dayI have a very sensitive mouth, teeth and gums. After becoming increasingly concerned about the potential neurological consequences of fluoridated toothpaste, I decided to look for a flouride-free toothpaste. I tried 3 brands. David’s toothpaste is by far superior and an absolute pleasure because it is so gentile and comfortable while at the same my teeth feel immaculately smooth, shiny and my mouth scrubbed clean and utterly detoxified. (Some other health brand options I tried didn’t feel like it was getting my teeth clean enough.) Not only did this toothpaste make my teeth less sensitive but I am satisfied with its potency and power to fastidiously scrub my teeth while fully freshening my mouth without burning the mucosa like the big brand conventional harsh chemical mint toothpaste. I also have a couple of veneers & this toothpaste is smooth; It gently polished the restorations without abrasion. The entire experience of using this toothpaste is delightful, the packaging awesome, the lid is substantial so it doesn’t get lost, & the tube roller twist included let’s me squeeze every drop out of the tube so there is no waste is also excellent. I not only converted to this great toothpaste but would actually give this toothpaste as a fun gift for friends & family members just because it’s that impressive! It’s the little things in life! An all around fantastic, premium product!
