The insole was so hard. Not enough arch support either. I changed the insole with a Vionic insole. Better but Still uncomfortable. I appreciate that the bottom sole is solid for hiking but the insole is terrible and the hard material along the back of the heal of the causes me blisters.

These shoes, expensive and made to last, may well outlast my desire to wear them. They are sturdy, thick, heavy, solid, very well made. I got black, and they look fine. The textured area top rear that looks like woven material in the photos is actually a sort of scale-patterned plastic. Some seams are top-stitched, might fray, but look good so far. Nothing is falling apart. The toe box is well shielded and tall enough not to press my toes. They are unobtrusive hiking and travel shoes, all-purpose, VERY durable, I think. Now for the flaws!

First I have to say is that these are nice shoes. But they would not work for me. The soles are very very stiff. I need a shoe that flexes when walking. These did not. I also felt they did not have enough padding for my liking nor did they have enough arch support. But with that being said, if you need a nice shoe with a stiff shoe, these may be for you. I only walked around in the house, so I really cant comment on how they would do on a long walk or someone standing on their feet all day who may suffer from knee, back, or foot pain and need a shoe to correct that issue. Unfortunately I had to return them and look for a different pair. I gave this shoe a 3 star only because of the stiff soles and it did not meet what I was looking for. These shoes may be perfect for someone else and deserve a 5 star.

I have been buying & enjoying Dansko for 25 years. Consistency & Quality unmatched. All the colors are beautiful, picked the Moss. I have PF, arthritis, bad balance. These shoes are my friend; making my feet very happy. The waterproofing is a bonus; the removable for washing foot liner is genius. As always the arch support and comfort insole is first class.

This is my third pair. One for work and two different colors for casual wear. I’m in the medical field and need great support. These are the best arch support and stability support. The best.

Wore these new on a 4 mile hike. no discomfort at all. Dansko has supplied me with shoes for many years. My feet are wide, difficult to find anything that fits elsewhere. Dont let the price scare you away, these shoes will last many years. So very happy with the quality and fit, will be ordering another color!

Very comfy

The size was too big. Its hard to find the right size in these shoes. It was cute, very well-made and good quality, unfortunately, I got the wrong size. I returned it. Dansko shoes are either too small or too big for me. Also, the tongue of the shoe is too long and pushed up against my feet.
