We have a bunch of these deployed over an animation studio, wired with cat6. I wouldnt put more than 4 machine on a single cat6 line - I think the 8 port is probably too much traffic, but thats just gut-instict, so we decided to use more of the 5 ports to distribute the load. Nobodys getting slow-downs or issues slinging files around, and were moving a lot of data. They never seem to need restarting, never seem to get hot. Dead quiet, too. Big thumbs up!
