I already have the same product bought from retail store, bought this product again in Amazon for second slot. Its truly impressive. If u are looking to upgrade RAM and already have another RAM in slot. You should match the brand speed and capacity. Make sure both slots are having same ram capacity and brand to enable dual channel feature. Else it might lead to compatibility issues in future. I have crucial ram 8gb variants in both slots. Made my system faster as gta 5 and some background apps already eating up one slot of RAM

Upgraded a HP system that came with 8GB of RAM to 16GB so the computer can play more PC game titles. I went to Crucial to check for compatible RAM modules before looking for the additional memory for my system. I took out the one stick of 8GB that came with the system and installed these 2 sticks of 8 to make 16GB as I didnt want to have mismatched speed or frequencies. I probably could have bought just one 8GB and just added it to the system. However some systems do better when the memory modules are of identical brand and specs.

I bought this RAM for my pc build and while i was waiting on the rest of my parts I checked if I had all the right parts. My RAM was labeled as DDR4 ram which my motherboard takes but while I was trying to install the RAM I had reliased that they had sent me DDR3L RAM instead of DDR4 so now I have to wait on however long it takes for a new ram to ship.VERY DISAPOINTED!!!
