Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD, up to 2000MB/s - CT1000P1SSD8

First off, Both Dell and Crucial state that this drive is incompatible with my laptop. Having done a little online research (anecdotal comments that large NVME drives worked fine in some folks systems), I decided to go ahead and give it a try.

Very fast, windows boots in 10 seconds.

This was an excellent value at $100 two years ago, and its still a great value today at that price. Comparable drives still generally cost at least $100, and many will have lower speeds still. This drive meets its advertised specs.

Funktioniert tadellos.

I have a 3.5 year old HP and it is like a new computer. Very fast (x9 faster than a SATA HD) which is excellent considering it tis working in an older device. I am using the old HDD as a backup drive now. If you have a newer PC however, get a NVMe SSD that is capable of 3500MB/sec. This is only capable of reads/writes up to 2,000/1,700 MB/s. That didnt matter for me because of my motherboard. I am still very pleased with it.

Read the other 1-star reviews, this drive is terrible for gaming. I’m running it on a Alienware 17R5 and it constantly crashes my computer running Assassins Creed Origins; even just starting it up.
