Why didnt I do this before? relatively straight forward installation with a guide online and a cddy from amazon. My cd/dvd drive was never getting used. Startup time from 3 minutes to 15 seconds! applications start rapid now too. Old hard drive left inside the machine for archiving off live projects- mainly photography.

Followed the cloning instructions on crucial website using a £5 usb to sata cable not supplied and installed in my laptop swapping out the old slow standard drive with this SSD, it’s a whole lot faster you will instantly see the difference with boot up, application speed and accessing information. Worth every penny for the 500gb drive.

Very good SSD, fast, reliable and easy to use. Just plugged it in, installed my new Linux system and off I went. All in all a well recommended SSD at a very good price, cant really see the difference with SSD that are supposedly faster.

The drive was delivered quickly and worked great. I have a Sony Vaio VPCF1190X, and I used the MiniTool software to image my old drive and then to create partitions on the new drive. Everything worked great, and the computer boots SO much faster now with minimal disk loading when I use it.

Non pensavo che il mio vecchio notebook, solo con la sostituzione dellhd con questo crucial potesse rinascere e diventare così veloce. Linstallazione è semplicissima, le istruzioni presenti sul sito crucial sono molto chiare anche perciò che riguarda la clonazione del disco. Io ho preferito reinstallare il tutto anche perchè ho un sistema dual boot con linux. Con entrambi i sistemi operativi questo SSD va una meraviglia.
