Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

Wish Id bought an SSD years ago. My ThinkPad T430s acts like its a new PC. Boots to W10 sign-in screen in 6-8 seconds; desktop ready in another 5-7 seconds; all this used to take 2-3 MINUTES with the OEM Toshiba HD. Also runs dramatically cooler; was so hot before that I used to get burned with it on my lap; now its just a little warm. I took a risk and went with the #2 brand but glad I did.

I knew this was going to be a nice little upgrade but its hard to believe how much better things run now. Photoshop opens in a flash now. A video game that I stupidly bought without looking at the recommended specs ran like crap at the lowest settings but now I am able turn those settings up and it runs smooth with this new crucial drive.

Der Wechsel von HDD zu SSD war nötig und der Geschwindigkeitsunterschied ist merkbar und ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Der Einbau und restliche Inbetriebnahme war leicht und man konnte sich an der enthaltenen Software entlang hangeln

Diese SSD ist bei mir als Festplatte für Spiele (STEAM und ORIGIN) verbaut und die Ladezeiten für Spiele haben sich erheblich verkürzt. Die Betriebstemperaturen halten sich in dem Bereich wie vom Hersteller angegeben. Geräusche macht sie natürlich keine ist ja ne SSD. Bisher ist alles wie es sein soll. Haltbarkeit ist noch nicht bewertbar ist ja noch neu.

Although SATA may not be the optimum connection for SSD, it sped up my old computer a lot. Startup (booting) now takes a few seconds, before it took many minutes. Everything is noticeably faster. The old hard disks tended to fail after 5 years or so, the Crucial MX500 is guaranteed for 5 years, so here is hoping it lasts. They say that the emptier an SSD is, the longer it will last, which is partly why I got the 2Tb version.

Semplice da installare, affidabile, veloce e con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo sto sto utilizzando in ambiente Mac come disco esterno. Probabilmente il case limita le prestazioni, ma l’ho scelto per ragioni estetiche e con la consapevolezza di non effettuare la migliore delle possibili accoppiate.
