This 500GB SSD was to add to my PC because my other Samsung drive was getting a bit too full so I have now taken some files off the Samsung to free up some space on it. It was easy to install on my PC and has better speeds than the Samsung drive. A good buy and a good price.

Kudos to Crucial for making an SSD upgrade that even non-techies can do. Bought three of these to upgrade some older laptops. Crucials online instructions and the Acronis software you download made it a snap even for someone like me who had never done it before. The Acronis True Image cloner worked seamlessly and automatically. Ive seen some reviews that mentioned Macrium Reflect -- I tried that but it wasnt as user friendly as the Acronis was for me. One other benefit is that once you complete the drive clone and swap the hard drive, the Acronis software is still there so you can make backup images as you go forward. Great product, Crucial!

Along with the software that cloned my old hard drive to this one, the installation was a breeze. Boot time is awesome quick and so is everything else.
