> 3 dayBoot time was a lot quicker and now the old Mac feels new. Easiest way was to do a fresh install as an external hardrive and then follow the directions for High Sierra etc to migrate docs. Once you confirm that it boots as expected, then swap out the drives. There are some instructional videos on youknowwhere.
