This drive is WAY faster than my 5400 RPM WD drive was. My i5 boots faster than my i7 does, with my i5 having more overhead (files starting, etc.). Id say it is around 4 or 5 times faster to boot - and I made no motherboard modifications at all.

In meinem Acer Concept D war nur eine Festplatte mit 1TB verbaut. Da Fotos jede Menge Platz benötigen, war eine 2. SSD nötig. Der Einbau war unkompliziert, da der Acer einen passenden Platz bereit hielt. Montagerahmen und Kabel wurde mit dem Acer auch gleich mitgeliefert. Messungen über die Schreib- und Lesefähigkeit wurden zwar nicht gemacht, aber die Platte ist für meine Bedürfnisse schnell genug.

Requires a bit of setup (not plug and play) to get it to work. Youll need to initialise the drive in disk manager (instructions can be found at the crucial website) before it will be seen by your computer/laptop. Dont be alarmed if you plug it into the port and it isnt immediately picked up in the disk explorer - this is normal!

Tutto ok! Spedizionenei tempi previsti, pacco arrivato integro, imballo semplice ma è sufficente per salvaguardare Ssd Crucial. Installato come disco di archiviazione e back up su pc desktop con porte Sata 2, è un po più lento in Lettura/Scrittura siamo sui 250 Ms/s ma non dipende dallSSD Crucial! Pienamente soddisfatto.
