It increased the storage capacity of my old MacBook pro so it can be synchronized with my newer computer. Worth the money.

Installed this bad boy on my 2011 Mac book pro and it was night and day when it comes to speed and performance. Had difficulty uploading the new high Sierra but it eventually worked plus I found my old apps in the App Store as you cannot access anything new

An SDD drive should last more than 3 months. I get S.M.A.R.T. errors and it will only partially boot up on OS10.8 which cant run the majority of my software.

I/O freezing on large data transfer. Will go fast then drop off, stop, wait 30 sec, then fast again.. repeat.

Worked perfectly then went poof out of nowhere. Believe the reviews from people that have had this drive for over a year. It will not last and you will lose all of your data.
