So I used to have a 2tb HDD Seagate, and it was slow, loud, and disc usage went up to 100 every time I opened a chrome tab. For more than 3 years I was looking for solutions how to speed up my laptop. So one of them was to upgrade RAM and another was to upgrade to SSD. I did both. Now I can barely hear my laptop working. I use illustrator and Photoshop. It used to take my laptop a whole 2 min to start up and another 2 to open any program, and Im not even talking about working on large files. The pain!, HDD started beeping (self reboot) and whole system would stall. Now it takes 10-20 seconds at most to turn on my laptop and get any programs to open and work. Thats a 200x increase in productivity for me. Im so happy. I changed everything myself also, which was pretty easy to do.
