I used this 8GB to double the ram in my daughters low end laptop. Previously, it was so slow as to be almost useless. As soon as I installed this, her machine really sped up considerably.

This ram is clocked at 2400mhz and with the latency of 17ms ( variation in latency) , I installed this ram in my laptop Hp-notebook-15ay -554tu it installed smoothly , automatically detects the memory but its clock speed became at 2133mhz its not running on 2400mhz as the preinstalled runs on 2133mhz.

Good for the money!
