> 3 dayMy very first time self-installing Ram into my laptop. Bought the 16Gb, removed the factory 4Gb, and it worked! So far so good, and my computer is noticeably faster.

> 3 dayI bought this for my partner as she has the ThinkPad E580 laptop with only 8GB of RAM. A video on YouTube gave clear instructions of how to remove the backing of the laptop. The RAM can then be easily inserted into the second slot giving a total RAM of 24GB. This has made a huge impact on the performance of the laptop, making start ups, running programs, and general use a LOT smoother. It was glitching and lagging a lot before hand as the CPU and RAM was constantly at 100% performance. According to my partner, the CPU rarely goes over 20% performance. Anyone out there with a laptop that is compatible with this RAM, I would highly recommend it to you. It is worth every penny!

> 3 dayIt seems odd that Crucial customer support consistently says that this RAM is not designed for iMac, yet the RAM they suggest is $100 more. I ordered RAM designed for iMac and this RAM, and they both work. I returned the Mac specific RAM because it was more expensive and why use it if this works just fine. Plus, the other RAM was an off-brand and this was under $300 for 64GB.

Greater than one weekAt first I thought it wasnt compatible with the DS220+, but then I looked and asked several people that still used it fine. I thought I had it fully seated when I did it several times but it wasnt, it wasnt until I found a tip about making it only being deep enough when you can see the small metal brackets going into the small cutout on ram and thats what made it finally work for me.

> 3 dayI bought an 8GB RAM (part number: CT8G4SFRA266 2666MHz CL19 ) to extend the RAM of my Synology DS220+ NAS. Although Synology says the system supports up to 6 GB of RAM (2GB is included in the original box), the system actually supports more than that. You can add at least another 16GB of RAM to use as a cache to boost up the performance.
