I was put on the spot by my alexa home speaker when I checked notifications. To be fair this I believe is the first and only item Ive ever returned to Amazon in the 12 years Ive been a customer. There was no problem with the process or the item. Had that purchase for me worked, I wouldve given five stars. The problem was I bought it for my laptop which Im on now, per the instructions Id downloaded from the manufacturers website, and didnt open the laptop until I was ready to install the SODIMM module. Well, I went as far as I was willing to go, and I never saw the slot, and yes, I did disassemble two layers down. That was enough for me. so I chose to live with the RAM ive got. thank goodness there is a fair and relatively troublefree return policy and process with Amazon. The memory was never opened. Anyway, I wanted to set this record straight, because that single quanitative rating didnt adequately represent my experience with Amazon or the product manufacturer.

Ive been building and repairing computers for over 30 years, and for my money, you just cant beat the excellent quality of Crucial memory and hard drives, I cannot recall ever having any of their products fail. Do yourself a favor and shop Crucial for your PC needs.

Upgraded my RAM on the Acer Predator Triton 300 and it was seamless with no friction coming from the RAM. 16 GB has really boosted gaming performance significantly, and I havent noticed any significant dips in battery life as a result of extra RAM. Overall, things run quite a bit smoother. I purchased at Rs. 2488 and I think anything around here is a great deal. You really dont need anything more expensive than this for gaming and general productivity. Also great that I didnt have to mess with drivers or BIOS to get it to work. True plug and play.
