I bought this for my pfSense router. Probably only need 4G to run pfSense but I hate opening up computers over and over to do upgrades, so I went full tilt and maxed it out at 32G. My router is nice and stable and works great with this memory.

Bought two of these for my Synology DS1618+ because Crucial guarantees that theyd work. They fit in fine and the server booted up no problem. But it notified that the RAM wasnt compatible many applications stopped working properly. Removed the RAM and put the stock RAM in, things were back to normal. In short, dont get these for your NAS server.

Needed upgrade for my laptop this was great value for the $$ and its ddr4 n speedy to boot. Took laptop from 8gb to 20gb makes huge difference.

I bought the 8GB RAM to bump up memory to 16GB from 8GB. Installation was easy, just inserted in the empty slot. But the laptop would not recognize it and would not boot up. I had bought this after Crucial upgrade tool to pick out the right memory.
