I bought Crucial DDR4 ram with frequency 2666 MHz from Online Boss seller as i was redirect from the crucial website to this seller selling the ram on amazon, ( crucial website redirect to diffrent sellers after somedays). So buying from any seller thats has a good rating is ok.

Dead simple. Upgraded an 8 GB iMac to 40 GB.

I bought the smallest RAM quantity for my 2019 5K iMac and added this to it for 40GB. Then about a year later I bought another 32GB for a much lower price and now I have 64GB of glorious RAM for my workstation. Great for keeping web servers running in the background, testing things in VMs, for apps like Photoshop that hog RAM, and more. Now my RAM usage never goes above 80% ever (checked via iStat) and my system just keeps cranking along at top speed. Its also been put through its paces bootcamping Windows to run Folding@Home for the Coronavirus Vaccine at 100% speed over the weekends and no issues so far.
