CRU WiebeTech Programmable Mouse Jiggler MJ-3 (Single Unit)

Never have I been so happy to spend so much for something that does so little. Just plug it in, LED lights up for a second or two, then it just sits there doing nothing. While you enjoy your newfound freedom from the despotic IT overlords. Almost invisible, unbelievably simple, absolutely effective. Just get one!

I was told about a similar product but decided to choose this. I work virtual and use it on my work laptop. The company has programmed the sleep mode to kick about 2 minutes after the last keystroke. I was tired of constantly having to add my password every couple of minutes or so. Just annoying throughout a workday. This is heavenly and for those that are prone to carpal tunnel, I am sure it has to be helpful for not having to type so much more than needed. I am sure this was intended to keep the computer alive for those who like to appear always at their desk, but that is not my purpose. Id recommend this to anyone especially in a work situation where the computer logs you out often.

I love this product. Ive been using it for a month now at work. I needed this programmable mouse jiggler because only the administrator at work can alter computer settings to automatically log me off the computer after a given amount of time. I think this jiggler will work on nearly all computers because the computer thinks this is a mouse. Its a plug-in-and-play device; default program will move mouse a tiny distance every minute so that the computer does not time out to screen saver and log you off. For the less tech savy people, you just open the box, take out the small item and plug it into any USB drive on your computer. If you want to change the settings on the jiggler, the directions tell you to go to a website and download a program where you could change the program (such as move an inch to the left in 2 minutes then move up 1 inch in 5 minutes); your program can be super elaborate and long if you want. I think the maximum amount of time between each action to configure is 5 minutes (meaning, the jiggler has to do something every 5 minutes or less). Im a millennial and decently good with computers, and I had no trouble with the program; took me like two minutes to understand it. If you are over 50 years old, I can imagine that configuring the program may be difficult.

This is a high price for minimal material and limited function.

Use this on my work PC. Our PCs auto log out after inactivity and signing back in and re-opening all my files/programs takes too long. Does the trick and no one from our IT department has said anything to me (yet) lol.
