I have been using this product for quite some time now and my gum health has drastically improved. I would have rated it 5 stars was it not for the fact that P&G has reduced the tube size from 4.1 to 3.7 oz, that is 10% shrinkflation!!!

I’m really starting to think this is my go to toothpaste. My teeth feel so clean and my breath is fresh.

We started using this product when it was touted as one of the best products of the year. Since using it now for several years, no one in my family has had a cavity. Our hygienist has asked us what we are doing and the only change was the introduction of this product into to our daily brushing routine. We use Gum Detoxify at night as part of our brushing before bed. We do use an electric tooth brush as recommended by our dentist. Oral health is very important at any age, but as seniors we are very meticulous about keeping our teeth in good health. I highly recommend this product be part of your brushing routine. We have been pleased with the results. You will too. definitely worth the price.

I use this toothpaste twice a day and my teeth have never felt so clean. My dentist gave me a small sample tube and I fell in love, lol. You dont have to use a bunch, so the tubes last a fairly long time. A bonus for me is that I didnt have any peeling of the inside of my cheeks, I have had this before. I guess its an allergy, dentist said its like a sunburn in your mouth and just switch to something else.

The most important item about this product is that its fluorine source is stannous fluoride which fights gum disease as well as cavities. Sodium fluoride is apparently not as effective as stannous fluoride for gum disease. Stannous fluoride does darken your teeth as does all stannous fluoride products (note: Colgate has it too in its Total protection paste.) I use it and am completely satisfied but cannot guarantee that it lives up to its billing. I am willing to trust the research. Apparently, lab work justifies the claim. Me? Im just old and worry about my teeth falling out sooner rather than later. I believe the periodontal claims. As for freshness and flavor give me a break. I dont eat toothpaste for breakfast.

I have periodontists due to years of not caring for my teeth. When I got my act together, I started seeing the dentist 2x a year and my hygienist 4x a year. They recommended Crest Gum Detoxify and I am not looking back. My gums no longer bleed when flossing or brushing, and for the first time in a long time, I actually wake up with my breath minty clean from when I last brushed. Im flabbergasted. Just make sure you have functioning and healthy salivary glands because this product has SLS. If you have low saliva, I recommend a different product. As for whitening, I give it a 4/5 because its not THAT great with whitening teeth. But if you already have teeth on the whiter side, it will maintain that se white

I just came back from an emergency dental appointment after having little blisters appear sporadically and daily on my gums and inside cheeks…he xrayed then asked if I had changed toothpaste. When I told him I’ve been using this toothpaste he said to stop immediately and use Sensodyne from now on. Who would have thought? They see this condition from time to time and it’s this toothpaste! Turns out the culprit is an ingredient in lots of beauty products called sodium laurel sulfate, or SLS, a very harsh sudsing detergent.

The detoxify has bubbling qualities that I can appreciate. Will continue to purchase!
