I bought a Asus Z170 Pro-Gamming and Im not able to make the ram run at the expected speed even activating XMP on BIOS of the motherboard, I even updated the BIOS of the mother board, seems like the Asus z 170 chipset is having compatibility issues with this RAM, please investigate the compatibility between your motherboard and the ram you are buying.

So, i have been using 16gb of this ram running at 3200 for nearly 4 years but recently did an upgrade to my PC and added another 16gb on top. It ran fine for about 2 months then suddenly i would get memory errors on boot and the speed round reset to its default 2166. Any attempts to speed the memory up to its advertised speed would result in the error happening again.

Got a 32 GB Kit at first it wasnt being recognized had to reseat it twice before it would post. Confirmed it was 3600 ram in Bios and this RAM is fast. Task are now quicker and I actually get 10-15 frames on games which was kind of a surprise. Also virtually no lag in Warzone anymore since upgrading to faster ram. not bad for $125 I got it for! Would recommend

16 GB is becoming the norm in 2020, and this here is a good buy for the price. The clock speed is also a good touch as well.

Work as expected, speed of interactions was increased, very nifty pre-installed aluminum heat sink.
