> 3 dayBought this as an upgrade to the stock 8gb in the iMac 2017 27 5k Retina, which brings it to 24gb total (there are four slots, two used by the 2 x 4gb factory memory). It takes an extra minute or so to load the first time you power up after installing, as the computer is recognizing the change, then works perfectly. Best of all: Its $110 cheaper than upgrading to only 16gb total from Apple.
