Tried to install this in my Alienware 17R4 -- according to the service manual, it should work, but the machine refuses to POST with these modules installed. If anyone is interested, the error code is 2,4 (which indicates bad RAM)

I installed this RAM in my 2011 MBP i7 and it instantly recognized the memory. I immediately noticed a performance boost from the previous 4 GB 1300 MHZ RAM I had previously installed. Overall this is a great product and I would definitely recommend you purchase it if youre looking for a reasonably priced performance boost to your pc.
