Greater than one weekI bought the base model 15 macbook pro with 4 gb of ddr3 and the computer had many issues multitasking. The mac would often choke if I had Adobe CS6 open and then tried to open up an internet browser. I know 16gb is overkill for the computing I do but I think it is better to have an excess then to have the bare minimum! Installation was quick and easy. I love my laptop all over again!
